Trip to the Teotihuacan pyramids from Mexico City by car or bus

During this tour you will get acquainted with the capital of the first Mesoamerican Empire, Teotihuacan. In my humble opinion, it is one of the most picturesque and monumental archaeological sites in all of Central Mexico. An additional plus is the proximity to Mexico City. You don’t have to sit on the bus for half a day.

Logistics At 7-9 a.m. we will meet at your hotel, and then in 60-75 minutes by car / van with driver we will reach Teotihuacan.

For about 3-4 hours, we will not rush to explore the archaeological zone: the pyramids of the Sun and Moon, the Road of the Dead and other attractions of the ancient city of Teotihuacan.

Return to Mexico City by car / minibus around 13-14 hours.

Why should I go there with me?

We will not go to souvenir shops, where tourists are usually bred to buy low-quality souvenirs.

If necessary, we will not overpay for our own transport and go by suburban bus.

You will find a really interesting story and a fascinating walk. No pseudoscientific legends or stories. I will tell you about, in many ways, the accidental rise of Teotihuacan among other cities of the valley of Mexico, about the first example of mass housing construction in the Western Hemisphere, about its expansion into the land of the Mayan civilization and other facts.

Would you like to take public transport? You can go to Teotihuacan by rented car with a driver. There he will wait for us in the parking lot, and after the tour will take us to your hotel.

A walk through Teotihuacan is on foot – we will walk a lot and climb the pyramids. If you’re not physically ready, don’t torture yourself. I highly recommend using tanning remedies.

Wear comfortable shoes and prepare for temperature changes: in the morning it will be around 12-15 degrees, and by noon - 23-25.

So there's no misunderstanding. I won't help you carry your bags, I can't put your stuff in my backpack. Do not take extra pounds into the archaeological zone, leave them in the car.
