About me and my experience
Who am I?
I have lived in Mexico since 2013. I do marketing and copywriting in the field of travel. He visited dozens of places in the central and southern parts of the country - the states of Mexico City, Puebla, Oaxaca, Chiapas and the Yucatan Peninsula. On the advice of local friends decided to conduct educational walks in Mexico City and Puebla. I have a great desire to talk about this country, going beyond the tired tourist routes.
More than tourism
I am not a professional guide, excursions are hobbies for me, not everyday work. I'm not going to fill you with dates and surnames that, let's be honest, you're unlikely to remember. But you will easily notice my knowledge of local specifics, my understanding of historical processes and my interest in the country. I am interested to bring to you facts and legends not only about all the famous sights of Mexico – the ruins of Aztec cities stretching over thousands of square meters, exquisite architectural masterpieces of the Spanish and postcolonial eras – but also to show secret places that are familiar only to locals.
I know where the best coffee is served in the city and where the local bohemian gathers. I will tell you exactly what you should pay attention to, and what you can safely neglect with a busy travel schedule. I will tell you where the fascinating views open during sunset and which boulevards you need to walk slowly to feel like a contemporary of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. Let me know where to taste delicious and inexpensive street food and where to skip a pint of local craft beer on Friday night.
There are things you can’t imagine Mexico without, but that doesn’t mean you have to go around all the halls of the Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City or taste the fire-hot habanero pepper crickets.
