Excursion to the pyramid in Cholula (from Puebla)
Description:
In the Mexican state of Puebla is located the "magical town" Cholula. It is interesting because it contains the largest pyramid in the world - the sides of which are about 400 meters.
It is one of the few cities in Mexico, built on the site of an Aztec settlement and in the 18th century, due to strong Pre-Hispanic traditions, received the status of "Indian Republic".
The history of the settlement began in 500–200 BC during the late phase of the preclassical era of Mesoamerica and continues to this day. Excursion programme We will visit the Franciscan monastery of San Gabriel and see dozens of other Catholic churches, the total number of which exceeds one and a half hundred.
