Mexico City

Three districts: different Mexico City in one day

Description:

Once in Mexico City, it is very easy to give up and limit yourself to exploring only the city center. I suggest you gather your strength and go beyond the standard tourist routes.

We will have a whole day to see areas such as Polanco and Coyoacán in addition to the historic centre. You will find delicious street food and craft workshops; boulevards buried in greenery and narrow streets; historical and modern museums and much more. First we will get acquainted with the sights of Socalo, the main square of the city, you will learn about the ancient capital of the Aztecs and the Spanish conquest of the great empires of the New World. Then we head west, where we will visit the most interesting halls of the National Museum of Anthropology and see the architectural masterpiece of the Polanco district, the Sumayya Museum. In the afternoon, we will taste delicious soups and tacos at one of my favorite bistros (lunch included in the tour price) and head to the bohemian district of Coyoacán. There lived Frida Kahlo, one of the most famous artists of the last century. In her house-museum you will see in what interiors she created her surreal paintings and self-portraits. At the end of the tour you will try Mexican speciality coffee in one of the best coffee houses in Mexico City.

Logistics We will move between the districts by taxi or in our own car with a driver.
