Lake Ugiy Nuur

Lake Ugiy Nurr is located at an altitude of 1,331 meters above sea level. Its area is 27 square meters, and its length is 10 kilometers. The lake is one of the main tourist and important industrial points, all in it there are about 15 species of fish (large pikes, red peppers, perch, carp and others), so you can often meet fishermen here.

In the eastern part of the lake there is a tourist base Ugiy, which is convenient to stay overnight on the shore of the lake. It freezes the water from November to April. Swimming season is open on the lake in summer. At a distance of 100 meters from the shore of the lake, its depth will not exceed 2 meters. There is no vegetation on the shores of the lake, only sometimes fragments of rocks appear from the water.

Currently, an asphalt highway is being built to the lake from the village of Dashinchilen, which will greatly simplify the path to the water.
