About the company:

Choijin Lamen Sum is a magnificent temple complex of the early XX century in the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar. It is currently a museum of Tibetan-Monolian religious art. The exposition reproduces the state of the temple as it was under Luvsanhaidav. In the main temple there is a statue of Shakyamuni Buddha of the XVIII century, on the right hand of it there is a statue of Luvsanhaidav, on the left - the mummified body of Lama Baldanchoimbol. The museum itself was built in the early twentieth century. The author of the main projects of the buildings of this building was the architect Ombogiin. The entire architecture of the building was slightly influenced by Chinese architecture. Outside the temple there is a chapel, made in the form of a traditional Mongolian yurt, as well as a platform where Luvsankhaidav performed tantric rituals. The most important rituals of this monastery complex were held in the temple of Yadam, which is closed to believers. It contains bronze statues of 84 Indian Mahasiddhas, as well as statues of the Kalachakra and Mahamai yidams, Vajradhara Buddha, and others.
