International airport "Gurvan-Sayhan2"

Gurvan Saikhan International Airport is located 6 km northwest of Dalanzadgad city center, the capital of the Umnegov aimak in Mongolia.
The airport was built after the collapse of the Mongolian People’s Republic, and in 2007 it was completely rebuilt and new technologies were introduced, it never operated flights outside Mongolia.
Since 2007, the new Mongolian airline has started operating flights to the largest Tavan Tolgoi field in the Gobi desert.
The airport is located at an altitude of 1459 meters, above sea level, has one runway, where the ground cover is 2300 long.
The airport itself consists of 3 floors, the waiting room is on the 1st floor, the airport serves one of the few paved roads that are now in the Gobi desert.
