What has the Sheregesh ski resort prepared for tourists for the opening of the season?
Sheregesh is preparing to open the ski season on November 18.
The opening of the winter season will take place during the festival "Sheregeshfest: Discoverers": there will be a parade of young riders, instructors, hoteliers with pillows and restaurateurs with treats. Participants symbolize the readiness of the resort for the season. Snowmobiles and ratraks will also pass in front of the participants. At the end of the day, a capsule will be sent with a message to tourists for the closing season, which will become a new tradition of the resort.
Alexey Stoyanov, the head of the resort management: "On Sheregesh, low humidity, early and heavy snowfalls - all this guarantees the longest ski season with natural snow - from early November to May."
In 2023, Sheregesh will launch the largest tubing park in Russia, a cable car to Mount Asyr, a new highway and a fire and rescue depot.
