Philippines to open to Russians from February 10

Minister of Tourism Philippines Berna Romulo-Puyat announced that from February 10, the country will fully open to vaccinated tourists from countries with which there is a visa-free regime.

“We understand that one cannot relax, given the unpredictability of the virus. We will closely monitor the situation and ensure that all security measures are strictly observed at all tourist sites.”

From February 10, vaccinated guests are not required to undergo quarantine if they can present a negative PCR test result.

Tourists from visa-free countries will be allowed to enter, provided that their passports are valid for at least six months at the time of arrival and they have return tickets.

Visitors must also carry a certificate of vaccination from COVID-19. Satellite V and Satellite Light are recognized in the Philippines.

“Russians vaccinated with these drugs will be able to come to the Philippines,” said Yevgenia Russianova, a representative of the Department of Tourism of the Philippines in Russia and CIS countries. The certificate of the website of the State Services will be accepted as a document confirming vaccination. We are now looking into other Russian drugs.”
