How do Russians book vacations?
The Association of Tour Operators of Russia conducted a survey among Russians, and found that half of respondents (49%) prefer to book holidays 1-3 months before departure.
For 2-3 months and 1 month like to make plans 24% and 25% of our compatriots, respectively.
18% and 19% of tourists choose extreme options: plan a vacation a year in advance or, on the contrary, make a decision on a trip at the last minute.
The most unpopular option - 11% of respondents buy a ticket six months before leaving home.
A series of crises affected the consumer preferences of our readers in the opposite way: some have become more careful about budgeting for a trip and no longer buy tickets before departure, while others, on the contrary, are afraid of unforeseen situations and postpone until the last decision to buy a tour.
