What unusual regions do Russians choose for summer holidays?
Travelers have become more likely to spend summer holidays in unusual places, for example, in the north of the country and the Far East.
By a quarter (24%) increased the popularity of the Arctic. The most active Russians began to visit Republic of Sakha (+45% year-on-year travel) Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District (+43%) and Murmansk region (+22%).

The growth driver is tourists from all over Russia, who used to choose foreign destinations for travel, but now switch to the domestic market.
Summer is a comfortable period for visiting the northern and Far Eastern regions, the bulk of attractions there are natural sites. At this time of year there is a comfortable temperature for trekking, acquaintance with the local flora and fauna.
