What new resorts will appear in Russia in the near future?
Sergey Sukhanov, CEO of Turism.RF Corporation, said that the organization is ready to launch 25 new projects annually, by 2030 their number will reach at least 200, and 19 promising tourist territories in 13 constituent entities of the Russian Federation will be built from scratch.
Since 2022, 53 investment projects aimed at creating affordable resorts in 27 subjects of Russia have been approved, in total it is planned to invest 36.5 billion rubles in the construction of tourist facilities.
By 2030, 20,000 new hotel rooms will be created in Russia, and the annual tourist flow will grow by 10 million people.
At the end of 2022, there will be 14 projects in the active phase of construction - in the Urals, in the Krasnodar Territory, on Lake Baikal and in Primorye, another 34 will be designed, five - documentation will undergo examination.
The first portfolio will include the year-round resort Zavidovo Park (Tver region), New Sheregesh (Kuzbass), Green Flow (Buryatia).
