Tvil’s booking service analyzed more than 5,000 user messages in 2021 and identified hotel and hostel services that matter most to tourists.
Most tourists before booking are interested in whether there is stable Wi-Fi, parking near the hotel and the possibility of transfer from the airport or train station. For 30% of users, it is important that the hotel accepts pets.
15% of travelers wonder if the bathroom will have towels, soap, shampoo. And the same percentage of guests before the trip specify the configuration of the kitchen and the need to bring cutlery and an electric kettle.
5% of Russians ask to send the layout of the premises before booking: where the windows in the house, where the bed is located, whether there is a balcony, a photo of the toilet and a bathroom.
20% of our compatriots clarify whether the price will change on arrival.
In general, during the COVID-19 pandemic, tourists became more demanding about the issue of compensation in the event of cancellation of bookings - it became important to be able to cancel an order on the site without penalties if travel dates change.
