Crimea denies information about the jump in prices and excludes the possibility of cartel collusion hoteliers
The head of the Crimean Parliament Committee on tourism, resorts and sports Alexei Chernyak said that information about a sharp jump in prices in the Crimean resorts inflated artificially.
“Our sanatoriums did not raise prices practically. In many ways, information about a sharp jump in prices is artificially inflated, the head of the committee said on the sidelines of the Open Crimea tourist forum.
He said that it is worth admitting that a number of accommodation facilities have raised prices, but this is due to the modernization and improvement of service for holidaymakers.
The head of the Crimean Parliament Committee on tourism, resorts and sports Alexei Chernyak said that there is no cartel conspiracy of hoteliers of the Black Sea resorts on the synchronized price increase.
Earlier, the speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko instructed the profile committee of the chamber to monitor, together with the FAS, the situation with unreasonable price increases in Russian resorts, hotels and holiday homes after most foreign destinations for Russians this year were closed.
“Crimean resorts have already done this many times. Usually, on the eve of the holiday season, a large-scale campaign is launched from the outside against the Black Sea resorts of Russia to discredit them in order to scare away vacationers, the head of the committee said.
Chernyak stressed that the resorts of Crimea are preparing to spend the upcoming holiday season at a high organizational level, and guarantee tourists service and safe rest.
