Routes in Russia this year became the leading winter destination among organized tourists, in second place - Turkey.
According to Travelata, 44% of vouchers account for domestic resorts, to Turkey – 31%.
The most popular winter resort in Russia was Adler – 56% of tours bought there. Also in the top 5 in demand included the Red Polyana, Sochi. St. Petersburg. yalta.
The average duration of winter rest was 5-6 nights, and in 2020, Russians rested for 7-8 days.
The popularity of Russia as a destination is explained not only by closed borders, but also by lower prices for recreation compared to open foreign countries.
The average check for winter tours in the Russian Federation almost did not change compared to last year, and amounted to 32,500 rubles (in 2020 – 31 thousand rubles). For comparison: the average holiday check in Turkey is 56 thousand rubles, in Tanzania - 166 thousand rubles, in UAE - 134 thousand rubles, on Cuba - 164 thousand rubles, and in Egypt - 153 thousand rubles.
The most expensive resort of our country was Krasnaya Polyana: the average check for tours here is 51 thousand rubles. In second place in cost is Khosta - 37 thousand rubles, then goesyalta - 36,500 rubles, Sochi - 34 thousand rubles, kaliningrad - 28 thousand rubles, adler 27 500 rubles, and one of the most budget routes was St. Petersburg (17 thousand rubles).
Most often, three-star hotels book in winter - 63% (in 2020, the figure was 69%). In the second place in popularity of the “four” – 17% (a year earlier – 10%). Also, tourists chose boarding houses and sanatoriums, apartments, apart-hotels, "two" (6% each), but for five-star hotels - 2% of vouchers.
