According to the travel service Biletix, Russian tourists began to get out more often on short trips on weekends.
The share of round-trip bookings with departure on Friday-Saturday and return on Sunday-Monday increased in July from 6.3% to 8.4% compared to 2019.
The average ticket for such trips is lower than for longer trips. On average, the “flight for the weekend” cost tourists in July 6,694 rubles, for a longer time – 7,791 rubles.
