What countries do Russians dream about and where will they go after the opening of borders?
The news of the opening of the borders will change the plans of the majority of Russian tourists.

The majority (60% of tourists) expect the borders to open in 2021. At the same time, the list of the most coveted countries for travel is headed by an open TurkeyThen they go closed. Thailand. Italy. Spainand closes the TOP-5 "semi-open" Egypt.
68% of respondents said that the opening of borders will affect their vacation plans: 45% will go abroad if the situation with the epidemic improves, and 9% even if there is a risk of infection. 20% of respondents say that they prefer to relax in Russia and the opening of borders will not affect them.
It is obvious that our compatriots miss abroad, since in 2020 and at the beginning of 2021, everyone mostly sat at home and traveled around the country. According to Yandex, 40% of respondents did not leave their city, and 10% went somewhere solely for work. If we talk about tourist trips, 41% of respondents spent their holidays in Russia, 4.3% managed to go to their home country and abroad, and 4.6% abroad.
35.5% believe that after the opening of the borders, the behavior of tourists will not change, 27% expect that at first tourists will be more cautious, as an increase in the flow can cause an increase in the incidence of disease. 22% of respondents expect the growth of domestic tourism, 12% – that people will travel more often in their cars.
