Rest on the beaches of North Korea: Russians invited to Wonsan
The main resort of the DPRK is Wonsan. The city is located in the East Korean Gulf and is distinguished by sandy beaches, clean water of the East (Japanese) Sea, as well as mountains and pine forests.
The first travelers from Russia visited the DPRK as part of a test tour from February 9 to 12 and discovered the North Korean ski slopes. The DPRK was visited by residents of the neighboring Primorsky and Khabarovsk territories, as well as the Sakhalin region. There were tourists from the Irkutsk and Novosibirsk regions, as well as from the other end of Russia - the Kaliningrad and Leningrad regions, Moscow and St. Petersburg. In just three months of 2024, three groups visited there.
The programs of summer tours to the DPRK for 2024 have already been developed. Their duration will be 8 and 12 days, this is the longest of all the previously proposed tours to the country. While the dates of the trip are not known, they are being approved.
Russian tourists will be able to relax in completely new places – on the golden sandy beaches of North Korea.
Wonsan Kalma is known as the favorite resting place of the head of the DPRK Kim Jong-un, so work on the project is treated with maximum attention.
