Heathrow airport issued the first international electronic pass of a passenger CommonPass, which indicates the absence of the owner of the coronavirus and allows him to travel without quarantine. The certificate can be issued by travelers on flights London - New York, Hong Kong, Singapore.

CommonPass launches the Commons Project and the World Economic Forum in coordination with government representatives from 37 countries.

The project’s organizers want to create a common global framework that allows people to document their COVID-19 negative status electronically and present it when boarding a plane or crossing a border.

The result of a coronavirus test in a certified laboratory is downloaded into an application on a smartphone with a QR code that can be scanned by airline employees and border guards. The Common Pass allows countries to implement their own border entry and health check requirements, including the need for additional tests.

Testing of the system is planned on flights between London and New York with expansion to routes in Europe, North and South America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia until the end of 2020.

20 governments agreed to test the pilot scheme. Implementation is planned for early 2021.

According to the Commons Project, the system was tested at Kenya's borders earlier this year. It was first tested by truck drivers who underwent a medical examination and received permission to enter.
