Russian President Vladimir Putin reported an increase in the interest of Russians in domestic tourism

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that domestic tourism in the country has increased dramatically recently.

On November 13, at the plenary session of the forum “Strong Ideas for a New Time”, the head of state expressed confidence that interest in traveling around Russia will continue to increase.

I am sure that if we manage to maintain such an interest in our country inside Russia itself, then this number of people who travel around Russia will grow into quality – people will get used to, understand, see, feel and want to continue traveling around our country.

According to him, for quality domestic tourism, it is necessary to develop infrastructure, and to keep a balance between the interest of travelers and preserving the unique wealth of Russia.

“Of course, there is a lack of infrastructure, which is quite obvious. And where does it come from – no one has ever done it. Therefore, it is very important to turn the attention of our citizens to this type of tourism, and to support this interest.

Vladimir Putin noted that domestic tourism in our country has largely grown due to the support of the government, a program to return part of the cost of buying tourist tours around the country.
