Russia and Turkey agreed to increase the number of flights to Turkey

The issue of tourism development was on the agenda of the meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak with Vice President of Turkey Fuat Oktay and Minister of Trade, Chairman of the Turkish part of the Intergovernmental Commission of Turkey Mehmet Mush.

" An agreement was reached to increase the number of flights both from Turkish airlines and our companies, Novak said.

The head of Rostourism, Zarina Doguzova, said that following the joint work of the department and the Ministry of Transport, 450 additional charters per week to Turkey until July 1 were agreed.

Together with the Ministry of Transport, we are working on expanding air links with friendly countries. On May, 290 flights flew to Turkey every week. Last week, until July 1, more than 450 flights per week on the Turkish route were agreed. It is very important for businesses to be able to fulfil their obligations to tourists.”
