Russia - Cuba: direct flights opened
“Aeroflot” from July 1, began to perform direct regular flights to the Cuba Moscow.
Flights to the Varadero resort are performed by the subsidiary airline "Russia" on wide-body Boeing 777 airliners.
Flights are scheduled twice a week on Thursday and Saturday. In the future, depending on demand, the program of flights to Cuba will be expanded.
The air line between Russia and Cuba is one of Aeroflot’s oldest international destinations. The first regular flight to Havana was made in 1962 on the liner Tu-114. This is not just a milestone in the 100-year history of Russian civil aviation, it is a history of strong friendship and mutual support between our countries.
Air traffic between the countries was interrupted only twice: during the pandemic and after the introduction of restrictions by unfriendly countries.
