Tourist cashback for young people starts in the summer
The program of support of youth tourism in Russia with partial compensation of funds for tourist trips may begin this summer. This was told by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the ANO "Russia - Land of Opportunities" instructed the government to resolve the issue of expanding tourist cashback for schoolchildren and students, for example, to provide for them a year-round "sparing" tariff.
The promotion of domestic tourism, including reimbursement of part of the cost of paid tourist services for citizens, is included in the activities of the national project in the field of tourism developed by the government.
“A program to support school and youth tourism is being formed with partial compensation for the cost of purchasing tourist vouchers for trips to Russia. Funds for this program will be allocated from the federal budget, the beginning of its implementation is planned for the summer period this year, the Deputy Prime Minister added.
