Tourists from Russia can pay in Cuba with "Peace" cards
Minister of Tourism at the end of November Cuba Juan Carlos Garcia Granda said that the use of cards of the Russian payment system Mir by the end of the year will be available throughout the country.
Payment system "Mir" launched the reception of Russian payment cards in POS-terminals Cuba. First of all, the reception network is revealed in the most popular tourist locations, for example, in Havana and Varadero.
Russians can pay with Mir cards in Cuban shops, hotels and restaurants.
The head of the NSPK (National Payment Card System) Vladimir Komlev said that in the near future the acceptance of Mir cards throughout Cuba will be ensured. Settlements with Russian cards are at the rate set by the Mir payment system.
