Amsterdam

Amsterdam for its own: history, legends and myths. For people with disabilities

Description:

This sightseeing tour is suitable for people with disabilities.
The route passes through a comfortable urban environment: specially equipped descents, elevators and toilets.

We are waiting for a real adventure of eight centuries - with tragic and comic stories, with legends, amazing historical incidents and mysteries. In a three-and-a-half-hour walk through the old town, we will meet kings and coachmen, corsairs and nuns, inquisitors, witches, artists and even Santa Claus. We will see the old balance chamber, the exchange, the residence of the East India Company, the Red Light District and Chinatown. Be sure to find a secret cathedral, the “soul” of Amsterdam and yards with bats hidden from prying eyes, look at the city from a bird’s eye view, visit one of the most authoritative design hubs in the world and try the famous Dutch herring, cheese and the world’s best cookies. We'll have coffee in the old cathedral. There are few interesting things that can come up with good people in the happiest city on Earth!

And, of course, during the tour we will tell you about the history of Amsterdam and the Netherlands. But it’s also about how modern life works and what it’s like to be Dutch today. How can you literally create a country with your own hands? Why can't you trust Amsterdam? How to rent a palace for forty cents? What secret did the first Russian spies hunt for? How to understand a huge number of cheese varieties? How does stress in bats or forty affect urban policy? We'll find out!

Excursion cost: €320 for 1-4 people or €80 per person if you have more.

Duration of the tour: 3 hours (each additional hour of the guide - 100 euros)
