About me and my experience
We, Anastasia and Ekaterina, have gathered a team of like-minded people who, like us, are not indifferent to the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Morocco, Hungary, Serbia and are ready to talk about these countries from morning to night.
We like to walk and find unusual places, houses, courtyards, shops, sculptures, graffiti – all that people usually do not notice and run past. We know a lot of things that are not written in guidebooks, we regularly write articles for publications such as National Geographic, GEO and Discovery, and collaborate with TV travel programs. We would love to share this with you as well.
Our project came about 10 years ago from falling in love with the Netherlands, enthusiastic study of local culture, reading many books, walking along crooked streets and meeting beautiful and talented people. From all of this, a blog about the Netherlands was born, and later a tour project.
We also have a page called "Your Own Holland". Holland for your own on Facebook. And there, over the years of our work, a huge amount of information has accumulated about the Netherlands, its history and culture, national cuisine and modern architecture, stunning innovations and unusual cafes and hotels. In addition, we regularly write about Morocco, Belgium, Hungary and Serbia. All information is structured in a convenient rubricator.
