Construction of the palace began in 1747 and was completed only in 1786. The palace amazes with the perfection of its layout. The numerous halls of the palace, filled with works of art, are decorated with mirrors that reflect the luxurious baroque decoration. The surrounding gardens extend over many hectares with their bosquets, fountains, ponds and boat canal lined with luxurious tiled panels with pastoral subjects. Once in these places there was a brilliant life of the royal court, trying, albeit unsuccessfully, to surpass in splendor the courts of Europe of the XVIII century.
Nostalgia for those irrevocable times is still heard in the rustle of the leaves from the breeze coming from the sea.
