Lisbon and Sintra in the same day

For those who have only 1 day for excursions in Portugal, we suggest combining the main attractions of the center of the country in one trip.

In 8 hours we will inspect the city center with its main squares - Rossio, Commerce, drive along the Baishe, walk along the Alfama to the old cathedral. In the historical district of Belem we will see Jerónimos and the Tower of Belem. Then we will go a little west - to Sintra, a small cozy town 25 km away. From the capital.

There we will have lunch or snack (of your choice) and explore in detail the famous estate of Quint da Regaleira. This estate does not leave anyone indifferent: the coolness of grottoes and tunnels, the symbolism and surprises of architecture surrounded by a magnificent park. (Perhaps you can visit another palace.)

Sintra at your request: National Palace, Pena Palace, Montserrat. We will also visit the westernmost point of Europe - Cape Roca. Breathe in the freshness of the ocean, admire the Dali and reflect on the great past of this small country.

In Lisbon (or rather, in your hotel, because we can pick up from all the surroundings of Lisbon and Sintra) we will return along the beautiful coast, seeing along the way the small resort towns of Cascais and Estoril.
