If you come to Fatima on any other day, it is unlikely that you will have the feeling that before you shrine, "the altar of humanity", as John Paul II called this place.
But when you arrive on the evening of May 12 or October 12, you will have no doubt that you are where the voice of your heart has called you. I would call this place the purgatory of the human soul.
