The secrets of the Arrabid Mountains. Tasting walk in the nature reserve
Description:
The suburb of Lisbon, like a pirate’s chest, hides a huge amount of wealth: architectural, cultural, natural.
I suggest you take out a precious stone from the chest and enjoy it fully.
I invite you on a fascinating trip to the left bank of the Tagus River.
We will pass over the bridges of Lisbon (the bridge of April 25, and the bridge of Vasco da Gamma).
We will stop at the statue of Christ, which offers magnificent views of the city.
And then we plan to:
Visit the winery of one of the oldest and largest producers of muscat and dry wines in Portugal.
Look into the workshop of ceramic tiles (azuleijo), where the owner will tell in detail about the history and technology of tiles production.
Drive through the peaks of the Arrabid Mountains - enjoying the views of indescribable beauty. Located by the sea, the park amazes with some of the most beautiful landscapes of the coast near Lisbon. Towering like a green vertical wall over the Atlantic, the mountain serves as a shelter for small bays with white sand, where, despite its proximity to the ocean, the sea is always almost without waves.
Go down to one of the most beautiful beaches in the region and a place where several mysterious underground grottoes are located.
Visit the mystical Cape Espichel - a harsh cliff, located away from the hustle and bustle of the city. For centuries, the cape has been an important place of ritual worship, and still attracts pilgrims from all over the world.
Lunch in the fishing town of fish rhodizio (a set of several types of fish and seafood cooked on the grill). Lunch is included in the tour price!!!!
And in conclusion, go by boat along the embankments of Arrabid. To the sun, where dreams and desires are fulfilled.
