About the company:
The Toy Museum, located in Sintra, Portugal, opened in 1989. Most of the collection was collected for 50 years by the famous Portuguese collector João Arbuez Moreira. On a modern site, in a four-storey building formerly owned by the city fire department, the museum has been located since 1999.
The museum expositions introduce visitors to the history of toys. Among the exhibits of the collection, which currently has more than 40 thousand toys, you can see Egyptian toys created in the III-II centuries BC, toy cars, handmade Portuguese toys and many ancient and modern toys. Toys can be seen on the second and third floors, on the first floor there is a shop and restaurant, and on the fourth floor there is a "Holy of Holies of the Museum" - a workshop for the repair and restoration of toys.
