Portela Airport
Description:
Portela Airport is the largest international airport in Portugal. It began its work in 1942 and is now owned by the state-owned company ANA.
The airport currently has one military and two civilian terminals. It also has two runways 2,400 and 3,805 meters long. On the territory of the airport there are postal and bank offices, ATMs and currency exchange offices, shops, find offices, an insurance company branch, a medical center, bathrooms and showers, mother and child service.
Free buses run regularly between airport terminals. From the airport to the city can be reached by bus numbers 5, 22, 44, 45, 83, 91, as well as by taxi.
