Majestic Cafe

Cafe "Majestic" is one of the cult institutions of Porto. There are, of course, hundreds of cafes in this city, and coffee can be drunk almost everywhere, but Majestic is a place where Portuguese coffee culture is reflected in all the richness of colors and shades.

The building where the cafe is located was built in 1921. Inside are carved ceilings, wooden furniture and sculptural angels. You can get a cup of coffee here at any time of the day, because the Portuguese drink this truly national drink in the morning, afternoon and evening and are very fastidious in terms of quality. Therefore, there is coffee for any, the most demanding taste: uma bica ("uma bica" - a small cup of black coffee), um cafe ("um kafi" - black coffee in a large cup), meia de leite ("meia di leity" - coffee with milk), um galao ("um galau" - coffee on milk in a high glass) descafeinado ("decaffeinated" coffee").

The cafe also has a full menu and a special exhibition hall, on the territory of which various exhibitions are held. It smells like roasted coffee everywhere.
