My name is Maria. I live in Irkutsk from birth, I am interested in the history of our region and just in love with the city of Irkutsk and Lake Baikal! I will be glad to meet you, I will open for you Irkutsk and Baikal :

My name is Maria. I live in Irkutsk since birth. I am very interested in the history of our region and Baikal and I currently attend courses to become a certified guide. I have already sucessfully passed an accreditation to be a guide in Irkutsk Architectural and Ethnographic Museum "Taltsy" and many more are coming. Also I am working as a translator for The Great Baikal Trail which is a Russian non-profit environmental organization promoting the development of ecotourism, voluntary work, and environmental education; Based in Irkutsk, Russia, GBT is working to build hiking trails around Lake Baikal with the help of more than 4,500 volunteers from around Russia and the world.

My services and offers
During the summer from 8 of June every day at 20:00 pmI offerwalking tour around Irkutsk with numerous stops at the historical sites.
I offer excursions in Irkutsk city, Irkutsk Architectural and Ethnographic Museum “Taltsy” and Listvyanka (asettlement that is a must have tourist destination on the Lake Baikal). I prefer to work with small groups.

Была с Марией на экскурсии по Иркутску в марте 2021 г. Я не любитель исторических экскурсий, но от этой я просто в восторге! Мария интересно, душевно и увлечённо рассказывает об Иркутске. Чувствуется, что очень любит свой город. Удивило, как здорово она умеет создавать полную картину, сочетающую историю и современность. Благодаря этому впечатления надолго остаются в памяти.
Для получения приятных впечатлений рекомендую Марию как гида!

Хороший гид. Грамотно и компетентно провела экскурсию. Отлично знает историю города, озера Байкал. Финансово независима, добрая и отзывчивая.
She is a very good guide. She does excurssion very interesting. Mary loves her work and do it as well as she can. Also she kind and honest:)
