The tour will take place in the Big Yakimanka and its surroundings.
On the walk you will hear the story of Yakimanka, learn why this street was rebuilt, and how it looked before.
We will talk about the famous merchants who lived in the Yakimanka area, including such famous names as the Tretyakovs and Ryabushinskys, we will see their mansions.
You will also see the Water Canal, and learn how a real island appeared in Moscow.
And, of course, you will have a detailed acquaintance with the temples of Yakimanka, each of which has a unique history. You will marvel at the amazingly beautiful architecture, learn about saints and shrines, hear about people whose lives were connected with these parishes.
If you wish, you can visit any temple or all the temples on our route.
