Museum-estate "Botik Peter I"

Yaroslavl Region, Pereslavsky District, V

About the company:

The Botik Peter I Estate Museum is a unique and picturesque museum of Russia. It is located only 4 kilometers from Pereslavl-Zalessky on the southwestern shore of Pleshcheev Lake.

The history of its origin is connected with the youth period of Peter I. Here at the end of the seventeenth century, the tsar conceived the construction of the so-called "fun" flotilla, thus laying the foundations of the Russian Navy. To this day, there is only one ship - the bot "Fortuna". Local legend says that this ship was built by Peter himself.

The museum contains all items related to the youth of Peter. These are the remains of the flotilla and items of the royal court. On the territory of the estate in the exhibition hall "Rotunda" you can see the luxurious interiors of the XVIII century.

Having previously left an application, you can become a member of the original interactive museum program “Petrovsk Assembly”.
