Khao Kheow Zoo + Moo Baan Chon Pao + Traditional Thai Park

Description:

The zoo is located 50 km from Pattaya and is in the open air. It occupies a vast 1,200-acre parkland, more like a safari than a traditional zoo. The most important thing is that all animals walk in open enclosures, rather than sitting in cages, and almost all of them can be fed, and some petted and touched, which is a great delight for both children and adults. Khao Kheo contains about 8 thousand individuals of 300 different species, including tigers, elephants, monkeys. Kangaroos and other animals can be called a “wildlife fund” because many are endangered species.

Moo Baan Chon Pao – Tribal Village + Traditional Thai Park
The reason for the founding of Chong Pao (Tribal Village) is to preserve the culture, traditions, lifestyle and tribal structures of Thailand. As a result, the descendants of Thais as well as foreigners could learn more as a result of communicating with them. At the moment, the village of Chong Pao consists of 6 original ancient tribes: Dara Ang, Akha, long neck Karen, Lisu, Kayau (long-eared Karen), Lahu, which will be joined by several tribes in the near future.

Every home of these tribes in this settlement has been recreated according to their actual homes. All tribal residents wear traditional costumes of their people, so that guests can feel the tribal lifestyle. You can also watch shows based on the culture and games inherent in each tribe, so everyone can see firsthand the indigenous tribal people of Thailand for what they really are.
