Khao Kheow Zoo + Garden of Exotic Fruits
Description:
The zoo is located 50 km from Pattaya and is in the open air. It occupies a vast 1,200-acre parkland, more like a safari than a traditional zoo. The most important thing is that all animals walk in open enclosures, rather than sitting in cages, and almost all of them can be fed, and some petted and touched, which is a great delight for both children and adults. Khao Kheo contains about 8 thousand individuals of 300 different species, including tigers, elephants, monkeys. Kangaroos and other animals can be called a “wildlife fund” because many are endangered species.
We will visit the large orchard of Suphattraland in Rayong and see a huge number of plants and fruit trees. Fruits growing on them, you can feast while walking in the park. We will go on a trip on a small outdoor tram that takes tourists to the plantations of bananas, pineapples, durians, rambutans, mangosteen and other outlandish fruits, learn how rubber is extracted, and how the Bread Tree differs from the Durian, and you can also see how beautiful orchids grow and try Thai honey. After a sightseeing tour of the vast territory of this garden, we will pass to the local restaurant, where the tables are already set. Here you can treat yourself to any offered fruits, also try a real tasty Durian, many will change their opinion about this as it is called by the Thais the king of fruits. Delicious kebabs on swords and traditional Thai Som salad there, which will be prepared immediately with us.
