Description:

Wat Mangkon Kamalawat Temple is the largest Chinese Buddhist temple in Bangkok. It's located in Chinatown. Translated from Thai, the name of the temple means “Temple of the Lotus and Dragon”. The temple was built in 1872 in traditional Chinese style with low gable tiled roofs and carved stone dragons. Inside the temple complex you can see many altars of Buddha and Taoist deities, as well as various Buddhist, Confucian and Taoist shrines.
