Description:
Queen Sirikit Park was built to commemorate the Queen’s fiftieth birthday and opened to the public in August 1992. A highlight of the park is that the scheme of planted trees collected from 76 provinces of the country resembles the shape of a geographical map of Thailand.
The park occupies 22 hectares of land and is amazing in that it strikes with extraordinary beauty, well-groomed landscape and a magnificent botanical garden. In addition, the park has a large pond where the lotus and water lily grow. The area adjacent to the pond is covered with sculptures.
