Lumphini Stadium is one of the largest and most important stadiums in Thailand.
It was built in December 1956. The field for the competition has a size of 3007 square meters. There are constantly held competitions in Thai boxing and training Thai boxers for them. The stadium is also designed to promote Thai boxing both in the country and internationally.
To receive the title of champion, taking part in competitions at Lumphini Stadium, is considered very prestigious all over the world. Competitions are held here in twelve weight categories.
