Kamthieng House Museum
Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
About the company:
Kamthieng House Museum is a beautiful structure made of teak wood, which is an example of the architecture of the Northern part of Thailand.
The building was built 130 years ago and is an ordinary old Thai house with a canopy and all the necessary buildings: a barn and agricultural buildings.
Nowadays it is a house-museum, where old costumes and many items carved from wood are collected. Also stored here are ham yong - sacred testicles, which were a symbol of fertility of the inhabitants of the house.
