Description:
The area of the ground metro station Wongvian Yai is an urban area of Bangkok with dense residential development. It is located south of a large monument dedicated to King Thaksin. This monument is perhaps the main attraction in its vicinity.
Although the area is far from the main historical and cultural attractions of the capital of Thailand, it has many cafes and shops, the largest of which is the Robinson department store. There is also an open food market near Wongvian Yai Station.
