Esenboga International Airport
Description:
Esenboga International Airport is about 30 kilometers northeast of Ankara. It was opened in 1955 and is now one of the best in Europe. It was named after the nearby village of the same name.
The airport has two terminals serving domestic and external flights. On its territory there are 18 pedestrian bridges, 105 check-in counters and a huge parking area of 124,000 square meters. Currently, Esenbog International Airport serves about 20 airlines, the most popular of which are Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, Corendon Airlines and Iran Air.
Flights from here are carried out in such main directions - Kabul, Tabriz, Jeddah, Berlin, Hamburg, Hanover, Izmir, Kuwait, London and Milan. The airport infrastructure is developed at the highest level - there are comfortable waiting rooms, restaurants, medical stations, hairdressers and relaxation rooms.
