Apollo Temple

In Turkey, there is a temple of Apollo and it is located near the city of Didym, the distance from the bus station to the temple is only 2 km. It was built in ancient times, but it was never completed. At that time, it had 122 columns, currently only 2 of them remain. The fountain and altar where sacrifices were offered survived perfectly. Sculptures of busts of gods can only be admired. The temple was considered the central place for the prophet. People came here to be cleansed and sacrificed to the gods. If you decide to visit this ancient sanctuary, you need to take a minibus from the bus station, where it says “Apollon”. You can get there on foot. Do not worry, the ruins of the temple are visible from afar.
