Monument to pigeons on the embankment in Kusadasy

Kusadasi is translated from Turkish as “bird island”. This name probably owes to a small island, which was the place of seasonal nesting of numerous birds. It is not surprising that the symbol of the city with such a speaking name became pigeons, which even put a beautiful monument here.
