Istanbul

Twilight of Istanbul

Description:

The sun goes beyond the horizon, twilight swallows the quarters dissolving the past bustling day. Lights and illuminations of buildings are lit, the shimmering lights of candles come to life on the tables of institutions. The evening comes and what you have seen in the afternoon may seem different. I offer you new experiences in a new excursion program in the evening of Istanbul.

Karaköy – If you want to feel the color and bustling life of Istanbul, you should go to the Karaköy district – one of the most chaotic and violent areas of the city. A considerable number of historical buildings are concentrated here, and a great place for a familiarization walk. From here, the most picturesque view of the ensemble opens - Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia Cathedral, Suleymaniye Mosque and Golden Horn Bay.

Nishantashi – Welcome to the most exquisite, expensive and modern area of the city. In this place are concentrated the most expensive hotels and hotels, fashionable restaurants and cafes, representative offices and boutiques with famous world brands, offices of the most influential companies in Turkey. The combination of chic and luxury make Nishantashi an analogue of the modern city of Western Europe. Nishantashy in the evening and at night is beautiful, life on the streets does not cease until dawn. On weekends, all fashionistas and lovers of shopping flock here in search of new things, and on weekdays, influential and wealthy residents of Istanbul hold business meetings in restaurants. The unique combination of antiquity, history, social culture and modern trends make this place the most unique area of the city. Your acquaintance with the city will be incomplete if you do not visit Nishantashi.

Besiktas is located near the Bosphorus, famous for luxurious 5 star hotels, restaurants, palaces, mosques, parks, as well as the fact that the home stadium of the Besiktas football club of the same name is located here. The main attraction of this area is a huge complex of the sultan's palace called Dolmabahce. The building of the Naval Museum is also magnificent. On the way, the Istanbul residence of the current President of Turkey will also meet.

Ortakoy began to attract the attention of people several centuries ago. It was always very beautiful and crowded, but somehow cozy. No wonder the quarter was called one of the most beautiful corners of the city, worthy members of the sultan's family. The symbol of the Ortaköy quarter is the Ortaköy Mosque or Büyük Mecidiye camii (Buyuk Medjie). Ortakoy is a great place for leisurely walks. Unforgettable, wander through the numerous cozy streets, relax in the spacious square, buy something for a souvenir, and just have dinner in one of the many cafes or fish restaurant.

Arnavutkoy is an area along a beautiful embankment with moored luxury yachts, through which we will proceed to the Bebek district.

Bebek is also known for its Ashyan Park, one of the most beautiful places in Istanbul. It is located right on the shore of the Bosphorus. On one side of it stands the Egyptian Embassy building, on the other is the beautiful Bebek Mosque. This is a favorite place for walking Istanbul residents and guests of the city. In general, the whole area is a flowering garden: there are many rose gardens, acacia plantations and weeping willows. And on the shore of the strait, locals love to catch fish. Bebek in Istanbul is also a cinematic district. It often shoots world-famous Turkish TV series, so if you are lucky, you can watch the shooting of any evening scene.

Rumeli Hisara fortress is located on the European coast of Istanbul between two bridges across the Bosphorus in its narrowest part, north of the Bebek district. It was built in 1452 opposite another fortress Anadulu Hisara, located on the Asian shore of the strait and was a strategically important object of the Ottoman Empire on the Bosphorus, guarding the gates of the Golden Horn Bay.
