Bayazit mosque

In Istanbul there is a large and magnificent mosque Beyazyt. It has been perfectly preserved to this day. Its huge volumetric vault, almost 17 meters wide, is clearly visible from all the observation decks of Istanbul. Beyazyt Mosque was built in the traditional early Ottoman style with an emphasis on logic and utility. The extensive courtyard can serve many groups visiting archaic Istanbul. The mosque has an exterior decoration, but it is still more impressive inside, decorated with stone and jewelry, mosaics and paintings. You can get into it by highway, by tram TR1, or take a taxi. But taxis are much more expensive.
