Princes Islands
Description:
The princely islands (an archipelago of 9 islands) in Turkey (Istanbul) are located less than four dozen kilometers from the capital, so it is not difficult to get here. They owe their name to Byzantine princes and representatives of the nobility who came to the islands as punishment.
The local population of the island is known as "Adalar" or "Red Islands", due to the specific color of the soil. Nine land areas in the Sea of Marmara are a fairly well-developed infrastructure, as well as very spectacular beaches for tourists and residents of Istanbul.
