06:00 AM - Recommended meeting time

Pick up from hotel/airport in Delhi/Gurugram/Noida

Our driver will come to your chosen location to pick you up and then drive to Agra via Yamuna Expressway. The journey by sedan/SUV to Agra takes 03 – 04 hrs/ 200 kms. Relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. You can take a break midway to have refreshments.

09:30 AM - Visit the Taj Mahal

Upon arrival in Agra, you will meet your guide at your hotel where you will have the opportunity to use a clean toilet, freshen up, and then proceed to the Taj Mahal with your professional guide. It is considered to be the most beautiful example of the expression of love of the 5th Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, built in the 17th century.

Note: The Taj Mahal is closed to tourists on Fridays.

11:30 AM - After visiting the Taj Mahal - head to Agra Fort

Agra Fort is considered one of the most beautiful and well-preserved forts in India. It was built in the 16th - 17th centuries. The massive structure preserves the short and great history of not only Emperor Shah Jahan but also his grandfather Emperor Akbar the Great. In this fort, you can admire the grandeur, pomp and luxury of palaces made of red sandstone and white marble. It is said that Shah Jahan breathed his last in this fort.

13:00 PM - Lunch break

After exploring the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, visit one of the best multi-cuisine restaurants that serves authentic and mouth-watering dishes of the city.

14:30 PM - Visit Itmad-ud-Daula or Baby Taj

This is a beautiful mausoleum that was built in the 17th century by Empress Nurjahan as a mark of respect for her father Mirza Ghias Beg, who was the 'Pillar of the State' or chief minister at the court of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. It is the first Mughal mausoleum to be built entirely of white marble. The exquisite tomb of Mizra Ghias Beg is not to be missed.

15:00 PM - Shopping in Agra

Apart from the Taj Mahal and other monuments, Agra is also famous for its marble inlays, zardozi art, leather goods and hand-knotted carpets. If time permits, you will also have the opportunity to see these works of art. It is said that when you leave the city, you leave art behind.

16:00 PM - Back to Delhi

After spending a couple of hours in Agra, visiting the monument of love - Taj Mahal, the palaces of Agra Fort, Baby Taj and tasting the mouth-watering dishes of Agra, you will head back to Delhi in the same AC Sedan/SUV.

20:00 PM - Departure to the airport / Transfer to the hotel

After reaching Delhi, the chauffeur will drop you at your chosen location in Delhi for your onward journey.
